In our Infrared Sauna Dome, you simply lie back as a dome-shaped far-infrared heater gently warms your body from the inside out, promoting an array of health benefits while you rest comfortably (your head remains outside the dome in cool air). This contact-free, non-invasive treatment is both gentle and powerful, raising your core body temperature to stimulate natural detoxification, metabolism, skin rejuvenation, and more.​

The Infrared Sauna Dome is intended for general wellness and is not a medical treatment, so it’s better to err on the side of caution for any serious health issues. We are committed to ensuring the therapy is safe and comfortable for every client. Our staff are trained in the proper use of the dome and will monitor you during intense sessions. Should you feel uncomfortable at any point, we can pause or end the session immediately. Your well-being comes first.

Pregnancy

If you are pregnant, infrared sauna sessions are contraindicated. We do not recommend using the Infrared Sauna Dome during pregnancy​, as raising core body temperature is not advised for pregnant individuals. It’s best to wait until after giving birth to enjoy this treatment.

Serious Medical Conditions

Individuals with serious or unmanaged health conditions should consult a physician before using infrared sauna therapy​. This includes conditions such as severe heart disease, uncontrolled high blood pressure, advanced kidney or liver disease, active cancer, or any acute illness with fever. In particular, if you are on medications or treatments that affect your body’s ability to handle heat (for example, certain blood pressure medications or chemotherapy), get medical clearance first​.

Heat Sensitivity and Dehydration

If you have a condition that makes you extremely sensitive to heat or if you are currently dehydrated, you should use caution. We can always opt for a gentle session or shorten the duration in such cases. It’s important to come to your session well-hydrated and not on an empty stomach (have a light snack if needed to avoid lightheadedness). Avoid alcohol or heavy meals before your session.

Open Wounds or Acute Injury

Do not use the Infrared Dome over any large open wounds, and if you have a fresh injury that is in an acute inflammation stage (swelling, heat, redness), it might be best to wait until it stabilizes. While infrared can aid healing, we recommend following your doctor’s advice for acute injuries.

Implants and Prostheses?

Good news – having metal implants, surgical pins, or prosthetic joints is not a contraindication for infrared sauna use​. The far-infrared energy will not damage implants or make them heat up in a harmful way. Even clients with breast implants or pacemakers can typically use the Infrared Dome safely; however, if you have any device regulated by heat or electronic sensors, do inform us so we can take any necessary precautions.

We recommend to book after your treatments to enhance the results and relaxation.

Please add a 15 minutes break in between the end of your Treatment time and the start of your Sauna session.

WHAT DOES AN INFRARED SAUNA DOME SESSION FEEL LIKE?

Clients often describe it as a deeply relaxing, cocoon-like warmth. In low heat session, you’ll feel pleasantly warm and may even drift off to sleep because it’s so calming. In high heat session, you will feel heat building up and then a vigorous sweat – somewhat like exercising in a sauna but while lying down comfortably. Your head stays outside the dome, so you never feel short of breath; you can always breathe cool air. Many people find the experience euphoric and rejuvenating by the end – muscles relaxed, mind clear, and a “good sweat” accomplished. If at any time you feel too hot, you can quickly reduce the heat by letting cooler air inside the dome or let us know and we can adjust the temperature or take a short break (your comfort is key).

WILL I REALLY SWEAT THAT MUCH? DO I NEED TO SHOWER AFTER?

For the High heat or longer session, yes – be prepared to sweat a lot. It’s a healthy, cleansing sweat, equivalent to a solid workout. We provide a towel and you get time after the session to cool off in the room. You may towel off and get changed after the session.(We recommend waiting half hour for a full shower if possible, to let the detox process continue​)

For the Low Heat or shorter session, you will probably have a low to normal sweat. In either case, we’ll remind you to drink plenty of water after your session to rehydrate.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR DURING THE INFRARED DOME SESSION?

We generally ask you to undress or wear minimal clothing (like a bathing suit or underwear). The reason is that to sweat effectively, it’s best not to have heavy fabric soaking it up. Don’t worry, your privacy is completely respected – you will be in a private room and covered by the dome throughout. After the session, you can change into fresh clothes. Essentially, dress as if you were going to a sauna or a gym.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I USE THE INFRARED SAUNA DOME?

The optimal frequency can depend on your individual goals and how your body responds. For general wellness and relaxation, many clients do a session once a week or once every two weeks as a maintenance routine. If you are targeting specific goals – such as a detox program, weight loss, or addressing muscle pain – you might start with 2 sessions per week for a few weeks. Always pay attention to how you feel; infrared therapy is gentle enough that even 2–3 times per week is typically fine for those who tolerate heat well, but it’s not necessary to go that often unless you want to. Even a single session can have noticeable benefits (for example, easing that week’s stress or aiding recovery after a big workout). For skin improvement or anti-aging effects, consistent sessions (say weekly over 6–8 weeks) tend to yield the best results. We will be happy to create a personalized plan with you. Also, remember that you can mix and match session types – some people do one intense sweat session a month for deep detox and do gentle sessions weekly for relaxation. The key is consistency over time, balanced with proper rest and hydration.

CAN I USE THE INFRARED DOME IF I’M CLAUSTROPHOBIC OR DON’T GENERALLY LIKE SAUNAS?

Absolutely. We have specifically chosen this dome design because it is more comfortable for people who dislike traditional saunas. Since your head and arms can be outside the dome, you won’t feel closed-in or trapped. You are not in a small room – you’re on an open massage table with just a dome covering your torso and legs. We also leave a call bell in your reach; you are in control and can ask to stop at any time. We’ve found that even clients who describe themselves as claustrophobic do very well with the Infrared Dome because your face is free and you can see the room around you. As for not liking saunas due to the oppressive heat: again, the dome is a gentler experience. The air doesn’t get unbearably hot or humid, so many people who find conventional saunas too harsh actually enjoy the infrared sauna. If you’re very sensitive, we’ll start you with low heat, short time and you can build confidence from there. Most clients are pleasantly surprised at how easy and relaxing the Infrared Dome feels compared to what they expected.
