Hollie holds a Master’s degree in School Counselling and a Bachelor’s degree in Education, with over two decades of experience working with youth and families. Throughout her career, she has served as a Teacher, School Guidance Counsellor, Administrator, and Special Education Teacher. Her work has included individual and group counselling, as well as presentations on a wide range of mental health and special education topics.
Hollie specializes in supporting individuals with ADHD, depression, learning disabilities, self-esteem issues, anxiety, relationship concerns, grief, and loss. She is deeply committed to helping people navigate life’s challenges while developing the coping strategies they need to thrive.
Her counselling approach is person-centred, solution-focused, and grounded in a growth mindset. Her passion for grief counselling comes from my own journey of healing after experiencing significant personal loss. This experience inspired her to support others in moving beyond grief toward resilience, hope, and a healthy, fulfilling life. She strives to create a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental environment where clients can feel heard, supported, and empowered.

IS DIRECT BILLING AVAILABLE FOR HOLLIE’S SESSIONS?
Direct billing is not available for Hollie’s counselling services. Payment is due upfront at the time of your appointment. You will receive a receipt, which you can then submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement. Please check with your insurance company ahead of time to confirm your coverage.

DO I NEED TO COMPLETE CONSENT FORMS BEFORE MY SESSION?
Yes. All intake and consent forms must be completed before your first appointment. These will be sent to you by email. If you experience trouble accessing or signing your forms, please call our front desk at 709-220-6455 and a receptionist will assist you.
HOW CAN I REBOOK OR CANCEL A SESSION?
You can manage your appointments through the client portal, by calling the front desk at 709-220-6455, or by contacting us by email. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations; otherwise, a full session fee will be charged.
